Ensure that you arrange necessary funds to travel around the city in search for jobs and living. The transport charges of trains, tubes and buses vary from zone to zone.You may be eligible for an 18+ Student Oyster photocard which gives you 30 per cent off adult Travelcards and Bus & Tram Passes valid for seven days, one month or longer periods.

-Driving in the UK
To drive in the UK, you must have:
- A valid driver’s licence
- Valid insurance (it is compulsory to have insurance in the UK)
The car you are driving must:
- Be properly registered
- Have a current tax disc
- Have a current MOT (Ministry of Transport Certificate)
In the UK, there may be driving laws and rules that are different from those in your country. Most importantly, for example, we drive on the left side of the road! You might want to book some driving lessons in the UK to become familiar with these rules.
