| Terms and Conditions of Admission
1. Enrolment for a course, together with the payment of the required deposit, creates a binding agreement to follow the course and to pay the full fee.
2. All fees must be settled prior to the commencement of the course unless the College has agreed an instalment plan prior to enrolment. Where an instalment plan is agreed any default in the payment of fees will debar the student from subsequent course classes and use of the College and examination entries.
3. The Registration Fee of £250 is compulsory and is Non-Refundable.
4. Attention is drawn to the English Language skills requirement, satisfaction of which is a fundamental condition to the admission to the College. The College may require an assessment of written English. The College specifically reserves to right to refuse enrolment at any time if a student’s English language skills are insufficient to enable the student to properly partake in the chosen course.
5. All students should be prepared for a personal or telephonic/Skype interview by the college or the college’s representatives. The offer of a place is dependent on the successful outcome of such interview.
6. All students must be prepared to supply original copies of the qualifications listed in the section “Educational Background” of the application form. The application may be invalidated if original copies cannot be supplied.
7. Copies of the Educational Certificates must be certified by the College.
8. Anyone supplying false information on the application form or supplying false documents or otherwise seeking to secure admission through false information will be liable to suspension or expulsion from the College. Any fees paid by the student will not be refunded in that instance.
9. The tuition fees and registration fees may be paid to the college in the form of a Cheque, Bank Draft or Telegraphic Transfer. Cash can be paid if the applicant is visiting the college admissions office in person. Applicants are advised not to deposit tuition/registration fee with third parties or send money to the College by post. We advise students to email or inform us whenever they make payments to the overseas agents/consultants and obtain a receipt towards the payment.
10. An offer of a place is for a specific intake. Fees paid will not be carried forward to the next intake unless the student is unable to register in time for the intake start date or latest arrival date, because delays were experienced from the British High Commission in securing a visa.
11. The College reserves the right to place a student on to a course starting at a future date if the student arrives late for his course without reasonable excuse. Any such students will have to obtain approval from the UKBA to defer the course start date to a future date. Relevant UKBA regulations will apply for such students.
12. In the event of cancellation, for whatever reason, the following will apply:
Cancellations must be made in writing and will only be considered to have been made on the date on which they are received by the Admissions Office.
For cancellations which are received more than eight weeks before the course commencement date an administrative charge of £250 will be deducted from the deposit and any balance held will be refunded.
For cancellations received less than eight weeks before the commencement date the deposit will not be refunded.
Where cancellations are received after the course commencement date, for whatever reason, no refund will be given. In addition any balance of outstanding fees on the student’s account must be paid in full. The College may at its own discretion choose to make a full or partial refund in exceptional circumstances such as bereavement.
No refunds are due if an overseas student has already arrived in the UK and has chosen not to join the course or not to report to the college. Overseas students should note that the College must notify the UKBA of any cancellation or non-enrolment within 10 days from the course start date.
For students who are not successful in obtaining a visa through no fault of their own within 4 months of the date of issue of the CAS a refund will be granted on receipt of a written request and a copy of the original visa refusal letter issued by the relevant British High Commission/Embassy.
Course Deferments after obtaining a Student Visa will be considered as cancellation of admission and the Sponsorship to the student will be withdrawn. Depending on the availability of places, the college will issue the student with a new admission for the next available intake. Any fee paid will be transferred to the new admission after a deduction of £250. Such requests will be accepted only if they have been made atleast 4 weeks prior to the course commencement date .
13. Program details are correct at the time of publication but are subject to alteration.
14. Where students change their course of study during the term, no refund will be given for the revised course if it involves fewer subjects. Additional fees will be payable for the revised course if that course involves a higher fee than the course for which original enrolment was accepted.
15. The College requires students to attend all lectures and classes and to submit written work and attend all tests and examinations and to work hard and diligently throughout the course.
16. Students should note that College fees do not include fees payable for membership of awarding bodies. Such membership may be required in order for students to be eligible for examinations. Further at the end of the course students may have to pay an examination fee. If any student fails to pay the examination fee in time, he or she will not be allowed to undergo the final examination.
17. The College reserves the right to cancel any advertised course with four weeks notice prior to the commencement date for the course whereupon any fee paid will be refunded in full unless the student concerned chooses an alternative course program.
18. The College reserves the right to withdraw a subject up to four weeks after the published commencement date where it considers that it is not viable, whereupon an alternative subject will be offered on a pro-rata refund of the course fee given.
19. For courses leading to qualifications awarded by External Awarding Bodies, students must agree to be bound by the Regulations of the respective Awarding Body prior to enrolment, and any subsequent amendments made thereto from time to time.
20. The College reserves the right to take action against any student because of poor attendance, absence or violation any of the regulations concerning class attendance. No fee paid will be refunded to the student if the admission is cancelled due to poor attendance.
21. Applicants from overseas are reminded that they must comply with the UKBA regulations particularly in respect of attendance at the College. Any absence must be supported with acceptable documentary evidence.
22. The College reserves the right to require a student to leave a course at any stage if the student does not fulfil the above requirements or if a student’s continued presence would, in the opinion of the College, be detrimental to the well-being of the College’s staff, other students, or the College generally, or if a student does not meet his or her financial obligations. Any fees paid by the student will not be refunded in these instances.
23. The College reserves the right to make any changes at any time it deems necessary regarding admission requirements, fees, policies, tuition, rules and regulations and academic programmes.
24. Students are advised that the College does not give immigration advice and no reliance is to be placed on information given by the College or its staff (express or implied ) concerning any immigration issue.
25. The contractual relationship between a student and the College shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
