International Students
The International Advice service exists to help all International students studying at Northam College. Please ensure you have made the following arrangements before entering the UK to study.
Ensure that you have sufficient finances to cover your tuition fees, accommodation and living costs during your study period in the UK. Complete the Tuition Fees form and make arrangements for the payment of your fees with Student Accounts.
All incomers to EU countries (and EU nationals leaving EU countries) are required to declare if they have over €10,000 or its equivalent in other currencies (equivalent approximately £9,300) regardless of the payment method that you use.
Ensure that you have a valid passport, and if you require a student visa that you have followed the new immigration procedures and have the original copies of your examination certificates and English language results. You will be asked to produce these at enrolment. You must also have proof of identity (birth certificate, passport, national identity card or driving licence).
If you have learning difficulties such as dyslexia, please bring your assessment report from an educational psychologist.
Arrange your accommodation in the UK in advance of travelling and bring any relevant paperwork relating to your course of study, accommodation agreement, payment of fees, and so on.
